Bank Feed Overview

The optional EBMS Bank Feed feature allows the user to download bank transactions into EBMS.  Periodic downloads from a credit card account can save a lot of data entry.  Expense invoices, journal entries, and other documents are conveniently created using the information downloaded from the bank.

Open the Bank Feed feature by selecting Financials > Bank and Manual Feed from the main EBMS menu.

The bank feed dialog can also be used to create a list of transactions quickly.  For example, an office manager may wish to enter petty cash purchases as a list rather than creating individual invoices and payments.  Review Manual Feed for steps to enter a list of transactions without a bank feed.

A Plaid account must be set up if a bank feed has not been downloaded from the selected account.  Review Configuring Bank Feed for setup information.
