The premium version of Microsoft Power Automate is required to interface EBMS with various software using Power Automate.
Combining the API Gateway with MS Power Automate gives the user access to a wide variety of communication and process options allowing the user to interface various software. Review API Gateway for more details on the RestAPI options in EBMS.
Scenario: A equipment repair company used Power Automate to evaluate incoming service request e-mail and creating tasks as a result. Key words identified service requests and the email address was used to identify the customer. The task was created in EBMS based on the content of the e-mail. A work order is e-mailed to the technician on the field using a PDF document. The technician completes the information on the document and sent back to a designated e-mail address which places the details back on the documents tab of the task. The Power Automate interface streamslines the e-mail communication between the customer, technician, and the EBMS software.
Scenario: A distribution company with a large product catalog uses Power Automate to evaluate the margin of all products sold each day. The process reports all product sold with a margin that is below the threshold determine by management. This margin list is sent to the sales manager on a regular basis. This process keeps the sales manager aware of any incorrect prices or pricing that contains a low profit margin.
Scenario: A building supply company with multiple companies uses Power Automate to copy sales orders from one company to a purchase order within the second EBMS company. This automated process can save a substantial amount of data entry and can improve accuracy. Combining this Power Automate process with the advanced tool that duplicates the inventory product catalog between the two companies. This streamlined process dramatically simplifies the management of multiple companies with multiple product catalogs and the transfer of product between these companies.
Scenario: A equipment sales and service company that sells a large number of parts evaluate the stock level of the A level products. A level indicates products with the highest sales in each category. Power Automate evaluates the stock level of all products and texts the purchasing manager as soon as stock levels are well below targeted stock levels. This prompt alerts the manage when products are dangerously low or when large sales happen which drastically changes stock levels. This automated process sales the company the pain of having insufficient stock or inventory stock level changes that effect sales.
EBMS added Web Hooks in version 8.4 to allow EBMS to initiate various processes.
