Verifying Company Information
Prior to printing 1099 forms, complete the following steps to enter or verify company information:

Go to File > Company Information dialog to enter or verify company information and tax numbers.

On the General tab of the Company Information dialog, verify the company name and address information.

Go to the Advanced tab of the Company Information dialog to verify all company tax fields:

The SS/Emp. ID# setting must reflect the owner's social security number (SS) or the company's Employee Identification number (Emp. ID #).

The company's state abbreviation (State), state name (Description), and State Identification number (State ID #) must be filled in.
