How to set up a Zebra ZD420 label printer
Complete the following steps to install the Zebra ZD420 label printer:

Download and install the latest ZDesigner driver: https://www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/printers/desktop/zd420t.html#downloadlistitem_abe

Set up the printer for a network when connecting more than a single client to the printer.

Press and hold the Feed and Cancel button (2 right most buttons) for 2 seconds to print technical info.

Locate the IP address of the printer.

Open Window's Control Panel and select Devices and Printers once driver is installed.

Right click on the ZD420 Printer and click Printing Preferences.

Set the correct label size such as 2”x1”.

Print a test page from the printer.
-
Test by printing from EBMS. Review Printing Barcodes for instructions to print labels from EBMS.
