Assigning Prevailing Wage Work Codes to a Job
The optional Prevailing Wages module of EBMS is a payroll add-on that enables the user to calculate and manage prevailing wages. The module includes the tools to manage certified payroll and prevailing wage jobs. The prevailing wage option combined with the EBMS Job Costing module is a powerful tool for various contractors that require certified payroll.
Work Codes with a Wage Type of Prevailing Wage can be associated with a job and the corresponding Prevailing Wage and Benefit Rate for the specific job assigned. The Prevailing Wage tab will only appear on a job if the Prevailing Wage module is installed and enabled. Review the Prevailing Wages section of the Labor documentation to learn more about setting up and using Prevailing Wage Work Codes.
