EBMS Version Enhancements

Version Enhancements for EBMS 9.0 with Postrgres:  

EBMS 9.0 moves your data onto Postgres, a modern relational database. Screens, lists, and dialogs are snappier. Many Crystal Reports run 10–100x faster. Index corruption and the weekly reindexed jobs and support tickets that came with it are no longer a problem. Our modernized list views query the live database directly, so there's no more "data may not be updated yet" delay.

Postgres also scales with your hardware: performance holds up on large datasets with dozens of concurrent users. Long-locking operations like Change ID, which today can run up to 45 minutes and have to be scheduled after hours, can be rewritten to finish in seconds. Postgres lays the ground work for many future improvements that would not have been feasible in Codebase versions of EBMS.
