How to use Scheduled Events to automate routine processes in EBMS

Timed Events

The Timed Events tool within EBMS will schedule and automate recurring processes such as sending documents via email, downloading vendor files, creating recurring invoices, or downloading data for data importing with the Text Import/Export Mapping utility.

Complete the following steps to configure a scheduled recurring process:

  5. Set the optional Email Notification settings to alert the necessary staff when Auto Send is not successful or create a log if the send is successful.

  7. Repeat this setup for any other Auto Send modes. Review the available modes in Auto Send Overview for a complete list of options.

The Timed Events feature replaces the legacy method of Automate using Task Scheduler App.  Review the Task Scheduler documentation to schedule tasks that are not available within the Timed Events tool.
