Automotive Parts Lookup
Parts information can be accessed from the sales order entry window using one of the following options or services:

Auto part details can be accessed from an EBMS sales order using the WHI Solutions eCatalog. Parts graphics, parts interchange, substitute items, service intervals, and parts replacement labor guides are available using this eCatalog.

Vehicle accessory details can be accessed directly from eKeystone for customers who have an account with Keystone Automotive. Accessory details can be accessed by the year, make, and model of the customer's automobile. Review the Keystone Parts Selector section for details on vehicle accessory parts.

EBMS contains a multi-vendor catalog option that allows the user to access a vendor or distributor parts catalog from within the EBMS sales order or proposal screens. This tool is used to link the parts information directly to the inventory catalog within EBMS. Parts costs, jobber price, or other list prices can be updated regularly from an updated catalog from the vendor. Automotive Point of Sale Tools
EBMS contains many pricing tools to manage the mark-up and pricing for a large quantity of parts.

Price levels can be created for specific groups of customers. Review the Automotive Price Levels section for more details.

Prices can be calculated from costs entered into the purchase order or jobber prices obtained from a vendor catalog. Review the Automotive Pricing Markup and Discount Formulas for more details on pricing formulas. Review the Rounding Tables section for details on rounding prices.

Parts pricing can be calculated from the jobber price downloaded from the Keystone catalog or from the cost of the product. Review the Keystone Inventory Updates section for more details.

Promotional Keystone pricing can be downloaded directly to EBMS. Review the Download Promotional Pricing and Flyers from Keystone for more details.

The EBMS software contains tools to manage parts that are not stocked but are special ordered. Review the Automotive Special Orders and Drop Shipped Items section within the Inventory documentation for more details
Financial Tools
The system calculates sales taxes and excise taxes based on product, point of possession, and customer settings. Review the Excise Tax from within this manual or the Sales Tax section of the sales EBMS manual.
Purchase orders (P.O.s) can be uploaded directly to Keystone for easy and quick order placement with Keystone. Review the Submitting Purchase Orders to Keystone section for more details.

Manage a Large Number of Auto Parts

By seamlessly integrating eKeystone’s extensive product information with the EBMS business management features, you will have the business intelligence needed to excel in today’s world.
Part information is copied from eKeystone into the EBMS inventory system when the part is inserted into the sales order.
Maintain pricing
Part pricing is calculated from the jobber price and downloaded from the Keystone catalog or from the cost of the product. Pricing can also be calculated from a variety of formulas determined by the user.
Manage Special Orders
EBMS includes tools to manage stock and non-stock items from the time the customer places an order until pickup or installation. Track payments, vendor shipments, and drop shipments to streamline the process. Purchase orders can be uploaded directly to Keystone for quick order placement.
Year, Make, Model Parts Lookup
- Access parts from the order entry window based on the year, make, and model of the customer's automobile.
- Parts pricing is calculated from the jobber price and downloaded from the Keystone catalog or from the purchase cost.
- View store stock and store price values. These values reflect the stock quantity and price of the part listed within the EBMS software.
- Set price levels.
- A simple double-click inserts the desired part from within the Keystone Parts Selector into the order entry window.
- The part information is copied from eKeystone into the EBMS inventory system when the part is inserted into the sales order.
- Detailed stock levels can be accessed from the POS window.
